The Nine Tailed Beasts of Naruto

Decided to take a crack at the nine tailed beasts of Naruto. I got to say I was intimidated given their very involved design. The key was patience.

Shukaku could use more smoother shading.

I would probably redo Matatabi if I could go back in time, but I think it has more to do with the monster cat being basically constantly on fire, so it stands out from having a less flesh look to it.

For Isobu, I would add more contrast for the shading as they blend a bit too much for my liking.

I could have done Son Goku's tails a bit better as his bottom tail looks scrumped up.

Kokou & Saiken didn't have much going for them color palette or shading wise, so once I got their line work done, I was 75% done with them.

I am most proud of Chomei, as armors tend to be my weakness and Chomei had segmented armor on top of that.

Gyuki was a challenge to get his 8 tails in with the eighth being barely noticeable.

Kurama is skinnier than I thought, and I kind of wish he was a hybrid animal, like mix in some canine or avian traits or something. But sometimes simple is best.

Despite my criticisms, I like the overall result.
