Star Wars Winter 2023: Boolio, Gunata, & Ree-Yees

For this batch, I think its clear I need to improve my shading, especially with lighter shading.

With Boolio the thing that throws me off is the horns as the tips have the least amount of detail on them, but I love the work with & around the eyes. I feel I went too light with his shading & contrast choices, so I have decided to go darker in the future when drawing Wookies or any species of similar fur types like canines.

With Gunata, I forgo adding an outline making him a exercise in shading.

I tried initially to use a similar no outline style for Ree, but it was turning in an diaster, so I started all over with an outline. I did start with shading the darkest parts first and then go light. It yielded a much better result.

One area I am clearly weak in is clothing. I'll need to watch out for that in next season's batch.
