Chi-Chi

Been in corporating charcoal into my drawings, and loving the results so far. Black & brown hair is shows up a lot in anime & manga, so I was always running my 5-8B pencils down to nothing but always ending up a shade or three lighter than I like after scanned. Charcoal absorbs light better so it retains its darkness much easier after processing. Granted, some would say to use ink/pen, but you can't erase or correct ink or lighten up to account lighting after the fact. Downside is that charcoal likes to smudge, so I have to watch where my hand rests.
